<description>Well, I sure jumped the gun on this one. I finally talked on the phone with the fellow who I thought was "ripping me off". As it turns out, it was an innocent misunderstanding. No harm intended by them whatsoever.

I rarely act in a reactionary manner and I'm embarrassed to admit that I DID over-react on this one.

I'm happy to say that the entire situation is "water under the bridge" and I look forward to helping these guys out when they're ready.

<description>Hey Tim - great post! Some of my copy, graphics, formats, etc are lovingly 'hijacked' - but always with permission from the site owner.

I guess imitation IS the best form of flattery - means you're in an awesome niche with great potential and someone else wants a piece of that.

The important thing (that you do so well) is NOT TO LET THAT FREEZE you or freak you out. You cannot be paralyzed by competition or paralyzed (or bitter) about what 'others' are doing.

You be YOU.
Do your best stuff.
Give your great content.

And your core audience will know you. like you. and trust you all the more ;)

<description>Thank you for posting this Tim! I hadn't known about this program and your video really did a great job of showing it. You should get affiliate commissions for this product since quite a few people will be buying this after seeing your video.

Thanks Tim!

<description>Hey Tim, Awesome video! Cover Action Pro is exactly the product I need right now. It'll take the place of all those piecemeal scripts that only do one or two action scripts. Thanks for sharing. p.s. pip over screen cast is so cool.</description>

		<description>Hey Mike,

Sorry man... I hear where you're coming from. But the actual artwork I use is my own original stuff! I just use those photoshop action scritps to make it look cooler.

		<description>Hi Tim,

First ofall allow me to "introduce myself"

I'm Mike Zimmerman,a Photographer in Ft. Lauderdale.
We met breifly at an NASGW show a few years ago.
I'm a former subscriber, FL permit holder and carry full time, and I'm a "somewhat known firearms photographer".

With all of that said, I have to tell you I feel this
"powerful product graphics" is a bunch of canned crapola.

I'msure it works fine as long as you DON'T LIKE
INDIVIDUALITY or CREATIVITY.
If you want your UNIQUE INDIVIDUAL PRODUCT to look the EXACT SAME as the person down the street, down the highway or all over the place, then that's fine.

BUT, if you want to be different, want to look UNIQUE, or stand out from the crowd, well, then you'll still need the talent &#38; creativity of a professional Photographer.

Case in point;
Approx. 2 years ago I was helping to log entrys for a local advertising competetion, the ADDYS, which is the first step towards local, district and national awards.

Over the course of the day, 3 "different" ads came in all with the SAME STOCK PHOTO. Needless to say they all looked VERY similar, and none of them scored well in the local judging.

It's the same "homogenized look" that's pervasive today.

Most people (including some advertising "professionals")
rely on what's inside the little "putty colored box"
for "creativity" rather than exercising their BRAIN,
and perhaps spending a few dollars as well.

It's a disturbing trend that's spiraling out of control.

Fortunately, since I do work for people who know the difference, I'm still in business, and continue to
"fight the good fight"

Just my 2 cents.
